Serving in England, with All-Europe Scope. The mission of Military Ministry is to help military men and women and their families in all nations become followers of Jesus Christ. The main thrust of the Military Ministry is to produce spiritual multiplication through evangelism and discipleship among military men, women, and their families.
Tom and Sara Gilson
Director of Strategic Processes (Campus Crusade for Christ)
Tom is the Director of Strategic Processes in the Operational Advisory Services (OAS) team. OAS reports directly to the Board of Directors on financial management, risk management, and stewardship of resources. Tom’s part is helping ensure ministries’ strategic planning is on track with global priorities, and also helping to set up improved measurements of effectiveness.
Tom is also Campus Crusade’s project leader for the leadership assessment tool he developed and validated. This tool has been used worldwide by leaders with English language skills. A new technological structure is now being built to facilitate translation into other languages for more worldwide wise. A Spanish translation is ready to go as soon as the Internet system is ready.

Melody Warford serves mission agencies, schools, churches, and individual missionaries by helping them with the all-important area of communications. Her background before going into missions included graphic design work for groups like the World Bank and top U.S. governmental agencies. Now she’s serving the Lord in foreign missions.

Seaford Baptist Church’s Missions Leadership Team coordinates church-sponsored mission trips, missions events at the church, connections with our supported missionaries, prayer and communication, and more.
Who Is On the Team?
You could be on the team, if God is leading you that way! The membership now includes Sue Durham, Buddy Poe, Lisa Elburn, Steve Wells, and Shirley Flanagan. Tim Marshall leads the team. The MLT is part of the Family Ministries area of the church.
There is plenty of room for growth yet on the team, if there is an area of missions you’d like to help with. We have specific needs for help administratively and with developing bulletin boards. If you have other ideas, we would welcome a chance to hear them.
Missions Funding
Missionaries seeking support from Seaford Baptist Church may contact the MLT through the church office. We will take some time to get to know you, and then make a funding recommendation to the Stewardship Committee. All actual funding decisions are made strictly by the Stewardship Committee.
