For Military families... before, during, and after deployment

Seaford Baptist Church (SBC) recognizes the unique needs of the Military Families within our church membership and community. We have a special ministry that addresses those needs.

Care Box Ministry

We're making this an ongoing ministry at Seaford. Please share the mailing addresses of your military family members, and we'll be glad to get a care box to him or her. We would also like to send personal notes and/or cards in these boxes. What a wonderful project for a Sunday School class or small group! There is a drop off point in the Fellowship Hall. Below is a list of needed items:

Greeting cards

Small flashlights and batteries

Non-perishable snacks (candy, nuts, cookies, Pringles, tootsie pops, jerky, instant powder drinks to be mixed with water)

All purpose wipes, hand sanitizers

Toiletries (travel size)

Saline eye drops and nose drops or spray

phone cards (AT&T)

Sun block (SPF 50)

Chap stick

Over-the-counter allergy medicine

Tylenol/Advil

Non-aerosol bug repellant

Ben-Gay lotion or patches

Small first-aid kits

Small sewing kits

Small Kleenex

Current reading material

Travel-size games

MILITARY MINISTRY AT SEAFORD

On-going project: Our Military Ministry Bulletin Board is still a work in progress. We need your help to make it complete. We still need photos and information on our deployed military members. Walk through the hallway between the FLC foyer and the Old Fellowship Hall to view the board. Prayer requests are also welcomed.

Please watch for future activities for more chances for ministry to our military.
