Woman’s Bible Study (February 14)

Here’s an update – the Tuesday night Women’s Bible Study will not be meeting on Feb. 14th. (Hint – guys: don’t forget this is Valentine’s Day!)

Last night of current Bible Study is 28th of February (& potluck).

Also, our new study will begin on March 13th called Jonah – by Priscilla Shirer. Be sure to join with us, we meet weekly from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Sign up to get your book ordered in the atrium. Books will be available for purchase March 1 and 11th after Sunday services.

Men’s Retreat (March)

We have planned another Winter Retreat at the Star City Hunt Club for March 23-25. Cost is $40 to cover the food and club costs.

There are beds for 38 and nine couches so first come first served. Camping outside is also an option if you want to bring your own tent.

Bring a fishing pole or your favorite weapon. Activities include shooting, fishing, hiking, laying around, and eating.

High school age boys are welcome to come with their fathers.

If you want to take Friday off from work, you can some up on Thursday night.

Signup sheets are in the atrium at church. Contact Bob Reviea if you have any questions or Steve Butler if you want to be added to the list.

Awana (February)

February 5 – No Awana Clubs. Come to the church Super Bowl Party in the gym beginning at 4 pm. Children will need to be accompanied by their parents or other responsible adult.

February 12 – Chocolate Night—bring something chocolate to share with the group.

February 19 – PASS IT ON GAME NIGHT— Pass It On Game Night—game time will highlight relay games.

February 26 – Tin Can Tally Night—bring non-perishable food for the local food bank.

KIDZ W.O.W. CLUB (February)

We have already started our first 2012 session of KIDZ W.O.W. CLUB (Worship on Wednesdays) where we will teach Bible lessons related to and prepare for our new Spring musical, “The Amazing Grace Race.” We would love to have your child be a part of this wonderful ministry!

Children in grades K-5 meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. If you already know your child would like to be a part of the musical this year, please come prepared to register him/her this Wednesday night. Children who do not wish to perform in the musical are still welcome participate. All children have fun singing and learning! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help, please contact Jenna Frakes or Kimberly Millner.

Joy Circle Meeting & Mission Information (February)

Mission Action – Lackey Free Family Medical Clinic

The Lackey Free Clinic is a faith‐based health ministry, providing primary care, family medicine, chronic disease care, school physicals, pediatrics, dental care, eye exams, pharmacy and more. There are many ways you can volunteer including medical professionals, administrative assistants, front office workers, special projects and donating supplies. For a complete list of ways you can help, see the flyers on the WMU table in the fellowship hall.

Easter Baskets

We will be preparing fruit baskets to deliver to the shut‐ins for Easter this year. We would like to know if you know someone who would like to receive a fruit basket. Please call the church office with names and addresses.

New Woman’s Bible Study (February)

A New Study is beginning! The Woman’s Bible Study class, led by Linda Ahrens, is starting a new study entitled “When You Can’t Find God”, written by Linda Evans Shephard. The study will begin Sunday, February 5 during the Sunday School hour. Please come join us.
