What is Kids Praise?
Kids Praise is a ministry that seeks to communicate the truth of Gods love to children in a fun and relevant way. We strive to create a loving and safe environment where kids can learn what it means to have Jesus Christ as their Forever Friend. We accomplish this by making sure everything we do is God led and child targeted.
How does Kids Praise work?
Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., during Seaford Baptist Church’s morning worship service, Kids Praise starts with Activity Centers. Children can come and find games and toys to play with before the start of the lesson, but most importantly they can find Kids Praise Team Members ready and waiting to interact with them on their level. After a short time, our Worship Team will lead the kids with high energy and reverent praise songs. Our Puppet Team assists in leading worship by providing animated puppets to sing along with the children. The Teaching Team then presents a Lesson that is both fun and educational. Often the Drama Team will perform to help illustrate the lesson. At the end of our Large Group Time, we send the kids to their respective Shepherding Groups. Our Shepherding Team spends time teaching the lesson to the children in a small group environment. Our Shepherding Groups are based on grade level so the Shepherding lesson can be tailored to each child’s educational level. After a fun and exciting time, kids are picked up by their parents from their Shepherding room and are ready and eager to share all the fun they had learning and growing in Kids Praise.
Can I help with Kids Praise?
There are many ways in which you can help with Kids Praise. The first and foremost is prayer. Our ministry is a prayer dependent ministry. As a parent, you can help by actively showing interest in what your children learn and experience during their time with us.
