Her background before going into missions included graphic design work for groups like the World Bank and top U.S. governmental agencies. Now she's serving the Lord in foreign missions.

October 15 Update

Dear Friends and Family,

I decided to skip the Costa Rica and Haiti trip photos stories for the time being, because I’ve had several requests to see what I’m doing right now! So, since I had a little faster internet connection, I’ve put them up for you to see here.


I’m currently in Uganda, where these photos were taken. The first photos are of a short term medical missions team in a rural village, brought in through the Ironside family and Heart of the Bride ministry. There were many people there, with many different needs. While I was there, I went for a walk up the mountain with my friend Ken Nganda, to see the new site of the future orphanage being built there. The view was spectacular. Please pray for that ministry, and for the funds they need to build and make new homes for the orphans!

As for my time here, I’ve been checking in to all the ministries I’ve worked with before, taking photos for a concert called Alive Fest 08, encouraging Ugandan artists to get creative and resourceful in selling their work, helping out at African Bible University with their media strategy, hearing from ministries that have been helped by the media work we’ve done, advising missionaries beginning to do their own videos, and more.

I have missed Uganda, but I am also enjoying the new places God is sending me, and I’m willing to go wherever He sends me. I so appreciate the financial support that all of you have continued to give, even in the face of what is going on in the U.S. these days. This is the only way that I can live, and keep serving each day. There are students and orphans that you also help support through your prayers and giving to this ministry that are deeply grateful that God cares enough to reach out and pick them up out of their distress. So, may you be blessed by knowing that you helped in some way, and thank you!

Please pray for safety and health in the upcoming countries I go to straight from here. They are relatively closed countries for Christian ministry, so I am only going as a tourist to visit friends.
