GOOD NEWS!!!!
Cool happenings at Grafton High School This past Sunday 18 youth met at the Beasley's house to talk about starting a 1st Priority Bible club at GHS. This group consisted of students from 10 different churches as well as 6 students from Seaford Baptist Youth group. They brain stormed ideas to reach GHS for Jesus and handed out assignments to get the club up and going. This is a very encouraging start and shows great promise for the future. Please pray for these specific needs....
- The Administration of GHS to help the students move through the process
- The Teaches that the students approach to ask them to be sponsors of the club
- The 10 churches that may be the support network for the club
- The students of GHS that need to hear the Gospel
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CLUB starts Wednesday night in the Red Room!!!!! Yes here we go again!! Club well happen this year on Wednesday night from 6:15 - 7:45 in the Red room and in the Shack. It will be 2 clubs going on at the same time. High School club will begin in the shack at 6:15 with activities, Drama, and Bible study while the Middle school club will begin in the red room at 6:15 with Group games and challenges. At 7:00 p.m. the two groups will switch places and activities. Both groups should be finished at 7:45 each Wed night.
- We need chaperons and team helpers.
- We need more helpers on the planning team for the clubs. We want to plan out a month at a time.
- We need prayer warriors that will remember the youth each Wednesday night.
I am excited that our youth will take the opportunity to grow closer as a group while they bring friends to hear the gospel. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS SOON!!!! We are once again playing youth coed flag football. This is a opportunity for our youth group to be challenged through sport to be a team and give our best. We are the returning champs but need to recruit more players to be on our team and hopefully become a part of God's team. Please sign-up this Wed or Sunday if you are ready to have a good time. (No football experience is required) ** An adult team is also looking for players so come on out mom and dad and sow you still have the edge!!** First GAME on SAT Sept 20th at 10 a.m. First Adult game on Sat Sept 20th at 9 a.m. ________________________________________________________________________________________ This Sunday the youth SS classes will be studying the entire book of Matthew at 10 a.m. Matthew Quiz:
- What city was Matthew's from?
- What was Matthews occupation before following Jesus?
- What was Matthews ethnic back ground?
- What did Matthew remember Jesus saying on the Cross?
- Who came to Matthews party for Jesus that caused conflicts?
